I love babies. Plain and simple. I have always been the girl that naturally gravitates towards caring for little ones; so much that my career was centered on child development. I started out in elementary education, but then I had my first little boy and realized just how much I loved the nurturing and patience of providing for babies. I eventually went back to work in early childhood education, then in an infant nursery, and from there I became a personal nanny. With each of these transitions, I felt so blessed to call caring for babies my job. I mean come on, I got to snuggle and love babies and get paid for it! While caring for the babies, I would always be dreaming up sessions or seeing the babies in just the right lighting and wishing that I had my camera to capture them in that moment. As newborns, it seems like they grow and change by the minute. These new moments are fleeting, and I am passionate about photographing little details and natural elements of their first days here in this crazy big world. I have always yearned to one day combine my love for babies with my love for photography and here we are - dreams do come true.

I have had two sweet boys of my own now. Giving birth is not something to take lightly. Throughout both of my pregnancies, I felt like it was too good to be true. I couldn’t wait for the moment that our babies were laid on my chest for the first time. I couldn’t wait to hold them and hear their first cries. It was exhausting and painful, but exhilarating and pure bliss all at the same time. I know there are a lot of emotions and a lot of people in and out. I promise to not be just one more person in and out. I am patient and calm. I will capture the sweetest memories of your baby’s first moments with you. It will be natural and precious. We can dream up inspiration to make this session be a true representation of your family with its newest, sweetest member.
