Cotton Fields

I have known this mama pretty much my whole life. We went to elementary school together and grew up together from there. I knew of her at the age her daughter is now! That is so crazy to me. I can’t explain the feeling of seeing someone I’ve known for so long with a husband and kids of her own. It is so surreal and so precious!

This family drove quite a ways from Tennessee to visit me here in Alabama, and I am so glad that they did because this session may go down as one of my all time favorites!

Little man wasn’t feeling pictures when they arrived, but I always promise to embarrass myself just a little bit to get these sweet smiles. I will say this over and over… pictures with me are laid back. I think i’m pretty good at reading the room, and I can adjust our emotions from there. As my oldest son says, “Let me do what I do!” and that’s what we do… we let the kids do their thing to get genuine emotion.
